3 Easy Ways to Retake Control of your Intuition

Intuition is your internal guidance system and the fundamental core of active whole-self intelligence. Your intuition is always on. However, there is a problem. Perpetual distraction and mental contagion can overwhelm this silent operating system. Stress, unhealthy food and sleep habits make it worse.

Disconnecting from your intuition creates self-doubt and creates more stress. It also dismantles your creative autonomy, forcing you to be more a captive of your mental state than your overall being. This creates a fundamental dissociation of self, which is harmful to your well-being.

So, here are three easy ways to begin recovering your intuitive health.

1. Do this simple meditation anytime. On your in-breath imagine “I breath the universe.” On your out-breath “The universe is breathing me.” A minute or two is all that’s needed for you to feel more relaxed and in harmony with yourself.

2. Stop. Still. Be. This is any easy way to regain inner contact.

Stop. Stop whatever you are doing.
Still. Be present and feel into your heart. Breathe.
Be. Be in this space. Without attachment.

3. Tune into your intuition at random times during the day. Notice what it is communicating. Listen to it. If you forget you can set an alarm for yourself at various times to “wake yourself up” and do this.
